If you are looking for a science tutor and live in Malvern or the surrounding area, I may be able to help you.
I am a qualified science tutor with 18 years experience teaching science in mainstream and special schools, as well as home tutoring. I specialise in AQA for GCSE students, Trilogy and Separate Sciences. I hold a BSC Hons. in Life Sciences.
I live in Malvern. I love to go jogging, walking on the hills, practicing yoga, reading and gardening.
My passion is in helping year 10 and year 11 students to build confidence going into their GCSE exams. Students who require additional support may benefit from help outside of the mainstream enviornment. All young people should have the same access to the support that could help them achieve their goals.
I am DBS certified - please don’t hesitate to request my DBS certificate for inspection.
I have significant experience with students with special education needs.
I prefer one-to-one, in-person classes delivered at home, but do reserve a few slots for students who can only attend lessons online via video-call. Whilst students may be used to Zoom calls, Microsoft Teams meeting or Google Meet I prefer to use Jitsi for added security and peace of mind. You don’t need an account to access my Jitsi classroom and can access via any modern web browser.
I offer an initial student to tutor consultation for free in order to establish your goals and ensure I will be able to help you achieve them.
AQA believe that science has something to offer every student. That’s why they have a suite of science qualifications for Key Stage 4 – to suit students of all abilities and all aspirations.
Via combined GCSE Chemistry, Biology and Physics, AQA give a clear straightforward specification, with clear straightforward exams, so students can realise their potential.

These key ideas are of universal application, and we have embedded them throughout the subject content. They underpin many aspects of the science assessment.
